oscars 2016 red carpet

Awards season is over, making this my last red carpet fashion post (sadly.) But what better way to end the season than with a stellar red carpet at the Oscars?! Trust me when I say, the ladies BROUGHT IT this year. Rooney Mara in Givenchy and Saoirse Ronan in Calvin Klein were my favorite looks of the night. I picked more of my favorites below.

Is it fall yet? No? Too bad because fall fashion is all I can think about. Styling and playing with textures comes easier with fall clothes. kate young x target

ANOTHER collab, people! Target is on a roll. Kate Young, arguably the hottest celeb stylist after Rachel Zoe, created a 33 piece collection for Target. Flirty dresses, girly blazers and pretty prints beg for admission into the modern girl’s closet. The classic silhouettes are tailored without being stuffy. Fun and feminine accessories keep the line fresh and young. And the best part? The price point is spot on. (via Fashionista)

The hot designer collabs for spring just keep coming, y’all. First, it was Prabal Gurung for Target, then, Marchesa for JC Penny and now, Derek Lam for Kohl’s. Does it really get any better? Bring on spring, please! I am so ready.

eye on kenzo

In keeping with my PFW theme this week I present to you Kenzo’s Fall 2013 collection. Inspired by tribal prints and images, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon cranked out some fantastically detailed pieces – crocodile jacquards, criss-cross dresses, voluptuous coats, metallic pants and skirts and enough eye prints to give you the eerie feeling you’re being watched. Kenzo is every cool girl’s dream.
