Even though summer technically ends next month, in the South, temperatures get even hotter this time of year. It’s usually around August that I pray fall weather comes early. But until the first cool breeze of October, I need to find other ways to keep my chill.
For me, summer survival starts in the bedroom with crisp white sheets, a good summer read and a soft linen duvet cover. It sounds crazy, but white sheets alone instantly make my bed look cool and inviting. Parachute offers some great bedding options for summer, like 100 percent cotton sheet sets and linen blend duvet covers.
Already have your bed game on lock down? Try refreshing the bedroom with summery, relaxing scented candles, like lavender or coconut. The Coconut Milk Mango candle from Illume might be my favorite scent ever.
Then, once the decorating is completed, end the day with a captivating book. I’m currently reading The Goldfinch and do not want it to end.
So, is it time to go to bed yet?
