the makings of a gallery wall

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned before that I’m furnishing an apartment. It’s probably the most exciting thing I’ve ever done, creatively speaking. One thing I’m having a little trouble with, though, besides finding a cheap couch in decent condition, is finding art/images/photos to fill a gallery wall. So far, I’ve collected a few photos and some unattributed art from Pinterest in a folder on my desktop. Click through to see my finds!

Unfortunately, nice art is super expensive. Basically, I just get lost on Etsy looking for inspiration or cheap finds. Then I realize, I could totally make this! Most of the art I’m drawn to is simple and minimalistic and therefore fairly easy to replicate. I would consider splurging on a few of these pieces, though.
