Aren’t Saturdays the best? You get to be lazy, cook a fabulous breakfast and, in my case, go to a farmers market and see the Avett Brothers.
First stop, the Franklin Farmers Market for the Strawberry Festival. This was actually my first Saturday Farmers Market trip. I loved it. It’s so neat to see local farmers and craftspeople selling the fruits of their labor. I mean does it get any cuter than old ladies selling clay earrings and kitchen accessories fresh out of the kiln? Or a young Asian boy and his father selling veggies and flower arrangements? I think not.
Part 2 of Awesome Saturday: The Avett Brothers Concert. You cannot even understand my excitement for this show. My heart was pounding before the show even started. I thought I was going to lose it when the curtain finally dropped after five minutes of mounting anticipation. I’ve never experienced so many different emotions in one concert. It’s impossible to listen to their albums now without remembering that amazing night at Bridgestone Arena where I had chills for two whole hours. (OK so I might be a little dramatic, but seriously, I’ve been waiting for this night since 2009.)
My sister and I eagerly waiting for the Avetts!

Scott and Joe Kwan finish the hymn.

I’m also finally starting my juice cleanse tomorrow. I know I was going to last week, but I never had time to get the ingredients. (Another way Saturday was great: I made a trip to Trader Joe’s and then couldn’t help but stop by The Well, my fav coffee shop in Nashville, since it is right next door.) I’ll be sure to do a review when I finish on Wednesday. Have a great week everybody!
