I love pizza as much as the next person, but there comes a point when I have to cut it out. Wheat, carbs, sugar and heavily processed foods take a toll on my body.
Sometimes Every day I wish I could just reset and get back to healthy eating. After all, my exercise regimen only goes so far… So, I’ve decided to try a 3 day juice cleanse — starting Monday.
I found DIY 3 day juice cleanse from The Skinny Confidential that can be made at home! Summer makes me want to eat fresh food and be my healthiest self. I’m hoping this cleanse will give me the jumpstart I need!
* Three days of juices, eight ounces every hour for eight hours, lots of water in between & lean protein with veggies after 6 pm.
Day 1: Fresh 7 Liver & Kidney Detox
Blend 3 apples, 3 beets, 3 tomatoes, 3 large carrots, 3 pieces of celery, 3 cucumber, & 3 juiced lemon together [ 8 oz. every hour for 8 hours ].
Day 2: Fresh 6 Green Drink
Blend 3 apples, 3 pieces of celery, 3 whole cucumber, 2 peeled or unpeeled ginger roots, 3 heaping handfuls of parsley & 3 heaping handfuls of spinach together [8 oz. every hour for 8 hours ].
Day 3: Fresh 9 Super Colon Detox
Blend 3 beets, 3 large carrots, 3 pieces of celery, 3 whole cucumber, 2 peeled or unpeeled ginger roots, 3 juiced lemons, 3 heaping handfuls of lettuce, 3 heaping handfuls of parsley & 3 heaping handfuls of kale [ 8 oz. every hour for 8 hours ].

Drink water in between….you need to stay hydrated!! We alternated between 8oz juice & 8oz water. It takes some will power to drink all of that liquid all day long, but it’s well worth it.
