trader joe’s addictive snacks

I tweet a lot about Trader Joe’s. I talk about/recommend it even more. I realized, however, it might be beneficial to specify exactly which products cause me to speak so highly of the addictive grocery store.

Let’s start with my most recent addiction, besides this other recent addictionTrader Joe’s contemplates…Inner Peas. I’ll admit, I just caught on to the name today. Clever right? See that’s another thing I love about TJ’s; all of their products have the cutest names. Anyways, I decided to try these babies out and, man, I am sure glad I did. They hit the spot if you’re craving something crunchy and salty but don’t want to blow your carbs on crackers and chips. Plus, they’re peas…so they’re vegetables.

Next up: Ridge Cut Sweet Potato chips. Like the Inner Peas, it’s very easy to open this bag and consume at least half of its contents in one sitting. While it may not be the healthiest snack in the world, a few of these chips are better than Lay’s any day. They’re heartier and more flavorful than normal potato chips.

And last, but certainly not least, the Powerberries. You may have heard of these or seen them staring you down at the check-out. All I have to say is, buy them! Once again, this isn’t the healthiest snack, but if you’re craving something sweet, these little guys satisfy. I found myself finishing off almost an entire bag of these while doing some late night studying, so eat at your own risk. The best way I can describe the taste is a burst of fruitiness coated in dark chocolate that makes for a harmonious bit-size treat.

What’s on your Trader Joe’s shopping list? Let me know in the comments so we can compare!
