I hope everyone has been enjoying the Christmas and holiday season. There is a reason this is my favorite time of year: family, friends, fire, twinkly lights, good food, sweet treats, festive cheer, etc. I’ll be posting some of my favorite holiday treats later on because they are just too good to keep to myself. It’s funny, this year I didn’t really know what I wanted for Christmas. As cheesy as this sounds, I am just happy to be home and on break. I guess Christmas takes on a different meaning as you get older. My different outlook could also be attributed to the recent tragedy in Connecticut. I’ve been keeping the deceased little ones and teachers, as well as their families, in my prayers. Here’s wishing you the best with whomever and wherever you celebrate the holidays.
