weekend of sweets




Well lovely readers I made those delicious chocolate chip cookies as I promised last week. And yes they were as delectable as advertised. Making the dough was not nearly as hard as waiting to cook them. I made one batch after leaving the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour and a second batch after 36 hours. I personally thought the second batch tasted equally as good as the first but then again it’s pretty hard to mess up chocolate chip cookies, no?


I also made some cinnamon sugar tortilla crisps. The amount of flour tortillas leftover from our graduation celebration was absurd. I mean there are only so many variations of quesadillas I can eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner… My mom and I got creative and created these tasty little triangles. Try ’em sometime! They are SUPER easy to make and very satisfying. Now I’m off to do various exercises that burn copious amounts of calories.
